Community Build’s Legacy Safe Passage Program is implemented by, Leon Gullette, Vice President of Intervention Services. Mr. Gullette has over 20 years of experience implementing programs and has stakeholder and law enforcement support within communities. The Safe Passage Program is designed to help students and the community at large travel safely. It is composed of local residents, business owners, parent volunteers, schools, and local law enforcement working together to secure the safety of students going to and from school. Safe Passage participants report crimes, unfamiliar vehicle(s) and persons to the local law enforcement agencies (LASPD, LAPD, ETC.). We have served over 30,000 students and residents, and have partnered with 24 schools and parks throughout South Los Angeles to date.
