Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) Prevention Services Southwest I & 77TH II
The GRYD program is designed to foster youth development and reduce the influence of street gangs in the lives of our youth ages 10 to 15. We do this by creating youth centered programming dedicated to their social well-being and academic success. We plan, develop, and implement diversionary activities that are specific to each child to ensure that families are equipped with the necessary tools to implement positive changes. Program services include, but are not limited to:
-
Tutoring and homework assistance
-
Youth and family development activities
-
Youth employment and internships
-
Life and social skills
-
Individual counseling and youth support groups
-
Parent and guardian empowerment resources
